NEOSHO, Mo. - The NIACC baseball team split a non-league doubleheader with Crowder College on Saturday.
NIACC won the first game 12-5 and dropped the second game 8-5.
In the first game, NIACC scored four runs in the sixth inning and two in the seventh inning to make a winner out of Jacob Crissinger.
Crissinger pitched the final three innings allowing one run on two hits with three strikeouts and no walks.
NIACC pounded out 11 hits to score its 12 runs. Bennett McCollow, Kade Peloquin and John Doty had two hits apiece for the Trojans.
McCollow had two doubles and Peloquin and Doty both homered.
In the second game, leadoff hitter Brayden Hellum collected two hits for the Trojans.
NIACC scored all five of its runs in the first inning.
The two teams wrap up their four-game series Sunday with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
