Albert White emerged as a pivotal figure in the relaunch of the wrestling program in 2007-08, becoming one of three national champions for the team.
His triumph marked a historic moment, as it was the first wrestling season for the school since 1975-76.
With a stellar record of 31 wins and 3 losses, White culminated his remarkable season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over TJ Hepburn of Colby Community College in the 149-pound title bout, securing his place as a national champion.
Following his success at the junior college level, White continued his wrestling journey at Oklahoma State University, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable competitor in the sport.
