NIACC's Stockberger places 11th at Indian Hills Invite

OTTUMWA - NIACC sophomore Lilly Stockberger placed 11th at the Indian Hills Invitational on Friday at the Cedar Creek Golf Course.
Stockberger earned her 11th-place finish in a time of 21 minutes, 12 seconds on the 5-kilometer course. Graceland University's Ashlynn Perkins was the individual champion in a time of 19:11.
The 21:12 by Stockberger was seven seconds off her personal-best time of 21:05, which she ran at the Seminole Valley Stampede on Oct. 8.
Also for NIACC on Friday, Maggie McBride was 31st (23:03) and Audrey Carrison was 41st (24:58).
NIACC returns to action Oct. 30 at the NJCAA Region XI Division II championships in Fort Dodge.
