NIACC falls to Northeast, 3-0
NORFOLK, Neb. - The NIACC volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 18 (NJCAA Division II) Northeast CC on Wednesday in an ICCAC match.
Northeast won 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.
"We played OK but unfortunately we gave them plenty of points due to our own errors," NIACC coach Chris Brandt said. "We have a ton a great talent and we just need to refocus and be ready to put in the work to be consistent and determined to do whatever it takes."
NIACC was led by Hannah Wagner and Kennedy Meister with 11 kills apiece. Connor Gauch led the Lady Trojans with 28 digs and Sydney Roush had 15 assists.
NIACC (15-9 overall, 2-4 in the ICCAC) returns to action Saturday at home in the Trojans' Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Trojans face Marshalltown CC at 10 a.m. and St. Cloud Tech and CC at 3 p.m.
