NIACC falls to DMACC, 3-1
BOONE - The NIACC volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to DMACC Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest.
DMACC won 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-16.
"Unfortunately, we did not play the game like we can," NIACC coach Chris Brandt said. "We made it very difficult to gain control, mostly due to our own errors."
NIACC was led by freshman Kennedy Meister with 11 kills and eight digs. Sophomore Hannah Wagner had 10 kills, seven digs and two blocks.
Also for the Lady Trojans, Sydney Roush had 23 assists and seven digs, Ashley Groe had 11 assists and seven digs and Connor Gauch had 20 digs. Sarah Kimberly had six kills, three digs and one block.
NIACC (12-6 overall, 1-3 in the ICCAC) returns to action Friday night at the Wartburg College Junior Varsity.
