ROCKFORD — Sydney Fullerton has been as steady as they come over the past couple years for the Rockford girls golf team, and on Tuesday the Rockford senior made the next step in her career by signing to play golf at NIACC next fall.
Fullerton is fresh off a 14th-place finish at last year Class 1A girls state golf tournament after firing a two-day total of 183 (93-90).
In 2015, Fullerton helped the Lady Warriors rise throughout the year and ultimately into the 1A state tournament as a team. Fullerton placed 24th as an individual after shooting a 199 (99-100) and Rockford took home eighth place in the team race.
