Jeremy Winters begins his ninth season as an assistant coach for the NIACC men's basketball program.

Winters is involved in all areas of coaching for the Trojans. He will be active in recruiting, practice implementation, game planning, fundraising, and scouting, as well as being in charge of post player development and strength and conditioning.

Winters graduated in December 2016 with his Master's Degree in Higher Education from Iowa State University. Winters graduated from Waldorf College with a Bachelor's Degree in Wellness in 2011 with an emphasis in strength and conditioning.

Winters began his college career at Iowa Lakes Community College where he received 1st team Academic All-Region Honors. He completed his collegiate career at Waldorf in the 2009-2010 season and received All-Conference Honorable Mention.

In the 2010-11 season, he was a student assistant at Waldorf College for both the varsity and junior varsity programs.

Winters attended high school at MFL-MarMac in Monona, Iowa, where he received a 1st team all-conference award and player of the week from KCTN radio.

Winters is NIACC's Head Resident in housing, resident assistant supervisor, intramural coordinator, volunteer coordinator, co-student activities coordinator, and co-student senate advisor. Winters also serves as the Director of the Iowa Ambush Basketball Academy.

Winters lives in Mason City with his wife Emily.
