NIACC men play at DCTC
ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - The NIACC men's basketball team faces No. 16 DCTC Wednesday in a nonconference contest.
Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
It will be the second meeting this season between the two teams. DCTC topped the Trojans 91-80 at the Konigsmark Klassic in Mason City on Nov. 2.
NIACC (5-2 overall) last played on Monday when the Trojans topped the Wartburg College Junior Varsity 109-77 for their fourth straight win.
In Monday's win in Waverly, sophomore Kyle Lang scored 16 points to lead the Trojans. Lang was 6 of 8 from the field, including a 4 of 5 performance from 3-point range, to net his best scoring game in a Trojan uniform.
NIACC also received 15 points from Deundra Roberson, 13 from Orrington Hamilton, 12 from Josh Walker and 11 from Trey Sampson.
NIACC's James Harris scored nine points with 10 assists. The 10 assists from Harris is the most by a Trojan since Trei Mitchell dished out 13 assists against AFLBS on Jan. 16, 2015.
After Wednesday's contest, NIACC plays at pair of games in Fort Dodge on Friday and Saturday. The Trojans face Northeast CC on Friday and NDSCS on Saturday at the Great Western Shootout on the Iowa Central campus.
