MASON CITY - The NIACC baseball completed a four-game sweep of Ellsworth on Saturday at Roosevelt Field.
NIACC, which won two games at Ellsworth Friday, topped the Panthers 7-3 and 11-1 in five innings to wrap up the ICCAC season.
NIACC (30-24) was 15-13 in the ICCAC and earned the sixth seed for the upcoming NJCAA Region XI tournament in Clinton. The Trojans open tournament play against third-seed Southeastern at 3 p.m. Thursday.
In Saturday's first game, Patrick Pridgen improved his record to 6-2 with a complete-game victory. Pridgen allowed three runs on six hits with seven strikeouts and two walks.
Fox Leum, Gabe Denton and Gabe Eckstaine all collected three hits for the Trojans.
In the second game, the Trojans broke the game open with a seven-run second inning.
The Trojans hit four home runs, including the 22nd of the season for Leum. Also hitting homers were Will Sturek, Shane Kelleher and Eckstaine.
Leum and Kelleher both collected three hits.
Leum leads NJCAA Division II with his 22 home runs, which are tied for second on NIACC's all-time single-season list. Leum has 31 career home runs, which is second on the school's career list.
NIACC has 80 home runs this season, which ranks second in NJCAA Division II. Western Oklahoma State leads the nation with 96 home runs.
Ryan Swanson (4-3) gained the win for the Trojans. Swanson allowed one run on three hits with six strikeouts and no walks in four innings of work. Evan Reifert pitched a scoreless fifth for the Trojans.
Note: NIACC has won at least 30 games for the fourth straight season ... The last time the Trojans did not win 30 games was in 2014 when they were 25-31.
