NIACC drops season-opening twinbill

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — NIACC fell flat in a pair of games as it opened its season Saturday at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Kansas City won the opener 13-1 before rallying to take Game 2 4-2.

NIACC managed three hits in the first game and eight hits for the day


In the second game, NIACC carried a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth before Kansas City scratched across two in the sixth and walked off with two more in the seventh. Brandon Michie and Bryce Ball had an RBI apiece for the Trojans.
