NIACC's Stockberger earns all-region honors

FORT DODGE - For the second straight season, NIACC's Lilly Stockberger earned all-region honors.

Stockberger placed seventh in the NJCAA Region XI Division II race Sunday at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course. Stockberger earned second-team all-region honors in a time of 21 minutes, 39 seconds on the 5-kilometer course.

Last season, Stockberger placed fifth at the regional meet and earned second-team all-region honors in a time of 21:11 at the regional meet in Waterloo.

Also Sunday, NIACC's Audrey Carrison was 22nd in a time of 25:01 and Madisyn Heller was 24th in 27:32.

Southeastern was the NJCAA Region XI Division II champion with 69 points. DMACC was second with 89 points and Hawkeye CC was third with 142 points.

Southeastern's Aisha Ramone was the individual champion in a time of 19:04 and DMACC's Natalia Segura was second in 19:43.
