NIACC's Tobin earns 1st-team all-league honors
MASON CITY – For the second straight season, NIACC outside hitter Grace Tobin has earned first-team all-ICCAC volleyball honors.
Tobin led the ICCAC in kills per set (4.31) and overall kills (634), which currently ranks second in NJCAA Division II. Tobin also had 481 digs, 74 blocks and 49 ace serves.
Also, NIACC sophomore setter Samantha Coron was a second-team all-conference selection. Coron led the Trojans with 732 assists and collected 460 digs, 170 kills and 53 ace serves.
NIACC sophomore Halsie Keltner and freshman Kyla Moore were honorable mention all-conference picks.
Keltner had 219 kills, 294 digss, 42 assists, 39 blocks and 24 ace serves.
Moore had 209 kills and 104 blocks.
Tobin was also a first-team all-NJCAA Region XI-A selection and Coron was a second-team all-NJCAA Region XI selection.
