NIACC's Tobin is league's player of week
MASON CITY - For the second time in her career, NIACC's Grace Tobin has been selected as the ICCAC Division II volleyball offensive player of the week for the week of Sept. 6-12.
Tobin, a sophomore from Mason City, was also selected as the league's offensive player of the week for the week of Feb. 8-14, 2021.
Last week, Tobin collected 79 kills and six ace serves in five matches last week.
Tobin recorded 21 kills and matched her career best with five assists in the Trojans' 3-2 win over No. 6 (NJCAA Division III) RCTC at the RCTC Tournament. She also recorded a season-best 23 kills in a 3-1 win over Minnesota State CTC.
Tobin ranks second in the ICCAC with 213 kills. She also ranks 12th on NIACC's career kills list with 513.
