FORT DODGE - The NIACC volleyball team dropped an ICCAC match to Iowa Central on Wednesday.
Iowa Central won 25-14, 25-7, 25-22.
"Unfortunately, we started playing together too late in the match," NIACC coach Chris Brandt said. "Our third set, we came together and played with grit and passion but it just wasn't enough.
"Iowa Central is a tough competitor and they (the Tritons) didn't make many errors so our job was even more challenging."
NIACC freshman Hannah Wagner had six kills and seven digs and freshman Shelby Heston had five kills, four digs and two ace serves.
Also for the Lady Trojans, Amanda Borden had eight digs, Sydney Roush had 15 assists, Brooke Greenwood had six kills and two blocks and Becca Konz had three kills.
