NIACC volleyball teams opens season at Battle In The Dells Showcase

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. - The NIACC volleyball team will open its 2017 regular season Aug. 25-26 at the 22-team Battle In The Dells Showcase at the Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center.

On Aug. 25, NIACC plays No. 1 (NJCAA Division II) Parkland College (Illinois) at 2:30 p.m. and faces Highland Community College (Illinois) at 4:30 p.m.

On Aug. 26, the Lady Trojans play Glen Oaks Community College (Michigan) at 10 a.m. and take on No. 3 (NJCAA Division II) Owens Community College (Ohio) at noon.

Parkland is the two-time defending NJCAA Division II national champion. The Cobras were also the national runner-up in 2013 and 2014.

NIACC opens its ICCAC season Aug. 30 at Southwestern CC and plays its home opener on Sept. 1 against the Wartburg College Junior Varsity.
