NIACC places 9th in distance medley relay
PITTSBURG, Kan. - The NIACC women's distance medley relay team placed ninth at the NJCAA indoor national championships Friday afternoon.
The foursome of Cecelia Hemsworth, Dashawn Wyatt, Ally Trager and Emma Davison clocked a season-best time of 13 minutes, 7.47 seconds.
Monroe College won the event in 12:04.14 and Cowley College was second in 12:13.91.
Hawkeye CC was eighth in 12:45.78.
Davison placed 20th in the 1,000-meter run in a time of 3:13.17.
For the NIACC men, Kyle Younker placed 37th in the 200-meter prelims in a time of 22.59.
