NIACC track and field teams set to open indoor season

MANKATO, Minn. - The NIACC men's and women's track and field teams open the indoor season Saturday at the Chuck Peterson Open on the Minnesota State-Mankato campus.

The field events start at 11 a.m. in the Myers Fieldhouse. Running events are slated to start at 12:30 p.m.

The following are the NIACC track and field athletes that will be competing on Saturday:

WOMEN

Long jump - Kasey Parish, Caitlin Serle.

Shot put - Grace Heimer, Dasiah Tatum, Julia Pieper, Braylee Wood.

Weight throw - Wood, Tatum, Heimer, Pieper.

60 - Dashawn Wyatt, Breazi Preston.

200 - Dashawn Wyatt, Serle, Parish.

400 - Preston.

MEN

High jump - Jacob Henjum, Eric Swart, Mawuli Mensah, Alec Hayes.

Long jump - Walker Coldren, Mensah.

Triple jump - Henjum.

60 - Timothi McMaster, Keshawn Wilson, Kyartan Earvin, Ndumiso Ngcezula.

200 - McMaster, Kalen Eastman, Zach Leahmann, Wilson, Earvin, Hayes, Avion Smith, Coldren, Ngcezula.

400 - Karter Anderson, Joel Woja, Brendan Hoy, McMaster, Kyle Younker

600 - Seon Clarke.

4x400 - NIACC A, NIACC B.

RUNNING EVENTS

12:30 p.m. - Men's 60 qualifying round.

1 p.m. - 60 hurdles prelims

1:40 p.m. - 60 prelims.

2:10 p.m. - 600.

2:35 p.m. - Mile run.

3 p.m. - Men's 60 high hurdles final.

3:15 p.m. - 60 finals.

3:25 p.m. - 400.

4:10 p.m. - 800.

4:30 p.m. - 1,000.

4:50 p.m. - 200.

5:50 p.m. - 3,000.

6:20 p.m. - 4x400.
