MASON CITY - The NIACC women's soccer team topped Southeastern CC 2-1 in double overtime on Tuesday in an ICCAC contest.
The Lady Trojans won the match on a free kick from Rose Priestley with 2 minutes, 42 seconds left in the second extra session.
NIACC took a 1-0 lead with 28:16 remaining in the second half on a goal from Jessica Altman.
Southeastern tied the match with 14:57 remaining in regulation.
The two teams played a scoreless first overtime and the Lady Trojans claimed the conference win late in the second overtime.
NIACC (4-6 overall, 2-4 in the ICCAC) returns to action Saturday at Iowa Lakes. Match time in Spencer is slated for 7 p.m.
