Irvin Gomez is in his first season as an assistant coach with the NIACC men's and women's wrestling programs in the 2024-25 season.

Gomez was a member of the NIACC men's wrestling team from 2022-24.

In the 2023-24 season, Gomez was a first-team ICCAC academic all-region selection for the 2023 fall semester and was a first-team ICCAC academic all-region selection for the 2024 spring semester.

In the 2022-23 season, Gomez was a second-team ICCAC academic all-region selection for the 2022 fall semester and was a second-team ICCAC academic all-region selection for the 2023 spring semester.
