MASON CITY - NIACC freshman Christian Minto was selected as the ICCAC wrestler of the week for the week of Feb. 10-16.

Minto was selected as the NJCAA Central District's most outstanding wrestler Sunday after claiming the 165-pound title. Minto, who is ranked No. 1, topped Iowa Central's second-ranked Ashton Eyler 9-6 in the title match.

Minto (19-0) topped Ellsworth's Cameron Nesbitt 8-3 in his district semifinal match.

Minto and eight other NIACC wrestlers will compete at the NJCAA Division I national tournament March 6-7 in Council Bluffs.
