NIACC falls to Ellsworth on mat, 36-12
IOWA FALLS - The NIACC wrestling team dropped a 36-12 decision to Ellsworth Wednesday night in an ICCAC dual meet.
NIACC picked up wins from Austin Anderly (141), Ryan Faught (165) and Jimsher Sidhu (285).
Anderly, who was wrestling for the first time since early in the season, picked up a 12-2 major decision over Zach Garza.
Faught (10-4) topped the Panthers' RJ Howse, 4-2, and Sidhu (8-5) won by injury default over Darrell Mason.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at the Worthington Open in Worthington, Minn.
Notes: Anderly has career record of 17-7 with 3 falls, 1 tech. fall and 5 major decisions ... Faught has a career mark of 20-21 with 1 fall and 4 major decisions ... Sidhu has career mark of 21-10 with 5 falls, 1 tech. fall and 4 major decisions.
