DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - NIACC freshman Jordyn Barragy shot a second-day 97 (51-46) Wednesday at the LPGA Internation golf course in the NJCAA Division I national women's golf tournament.
Barragy, who prepped at Clear Lake, opened the tournament with a 100 on Tuesday.
"Jordyn got off to a rough start (Wednesday)," NIACC coach Chris Frenz said. "Not much went her way the first four holes, but then she got her legs under her and really played pretty decent golf the rest of the way."
The final day of the 54-hole tournament is set for Thursday.
"She strung together a good run through the middle of her round (Wednesday)," Frenz said, "and that should give her some confidence heading into the final round (Thursday).
