NIACC women place 2nd at Southwestern Invite

CRESTON - The NIACC women's golf team placed second at the four-team Southwestern Spartan Invitational on Friday with a 323 at the Crestmoor Golf Club.

Southeastern won the 18-hole tournament with a 321. Simpson College was third with a 333 and host Southwestern was fourth with a 338.

NIACC's Sydney Fullerton tied for fourth in the individual medalist competition with a 96. Other counting scores for the Lady Trojans were Ashley Alert (97), Kelli Wilson (100) and Katelyn Loegering (101).

Also for the Lady Trojans, Morgan Luecht shot a 105 and Brooke Maasch shot a 110.

The NIACC women wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Waldorf Invitational on Oct. 1.
