ESTHERVILLE - The NIACC women's basketball team dropped a 63-60 decision to Central CC-Columbus Saturday afternoon at the Iowa Lakes Classic.
With the game tied 60-60, Central CC-Columbus converted a 3-point play right underneath the hoop with .5 seconds left to take its 63-60 lead.
NIACC led 53-44 after the third quarter but were outscored 19-7 in the final 10 minutes.
NIACC (5-2 overall) returns to action Sunday at the Iowa Lakes Classic against Southeast (Neb.) CC. Game time is slated for 11 a.m.
