NIACC women gain 20th victory, 90-64

IOWA FALLS - The NIACC women's basketball team picked up its 20th win of the season Wednesday with a 90-64 victory over Ellsworth in an ICCAC contest.

NIACC moved its overall record to 20-8 and its league mark to 11-8 with the 26-point victory.

NIACC was led by freshman Alyssa Hames, who scored a career-high 22 points. The Trojans also received 20 points from Kourtney Manning, 13 points from Amaya Doree and a career-best nine points from Kinsey Jilek.

Manning also collected six rebounds with four assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Hames had six rebounds, six steals and two assists.

NIACC's Audrey Martinez-Stewart had six assists, four rebounds and two steals. Raven Kinnetz had five rebounds and Jasime Jackson had five rebounds and three assists.

NIACC, which has won seven straight contests, returns to action Friday at the Graceland University Junior Varsity. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
