NIACC's Morrow earns ICCAC player of week honor

MASON CITY - NIACC's Sierra Morrow was selected as the ICCAC women's basketball player of the week for the week of Nov. 1-10.

Morrow, a freshman, scored 23 points with 13 blocked shots and 12 rebounds in the Lady Trojans' win over Marshalltown CC Saturday at the Konigsmark Klassic.

Against Illinois Central on Friday, Morrow scored nine points with five rebounds and two blocked shots.

Morrow averages 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.0 blocked shots per game for the Lady Trojans, who are 4-0.

No. 3 NIACC hosts Iowa Western at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the NIACC gym on Autism Awareness Night.
