NIACC women ranked 9th in latest poll

MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team is ranked ninth in the NJCAA Division II poll released Wednesday.

NIACC (13-5, overall, 4-1 ICCAC) was ranked fifth in the Jan. 15 poll. The Lady Trojans were 2-1 last week with wins over DMACC and Southeastern and a loss to now No. 5 Kirkwood.

NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home in an ICCAC contest against Little Priest Tribal College. Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
