No. 1 Kirkwood women edge NIACC, 71-65
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team dropped a narrow 71-65 decision to top-ranked Kirkwood Wednesday night in front of a large crowd on alumni night in the NIACC gym.
Deleyah Harris led Kirkwood with 14 points and Simone Goods scored 13 points.
NIACC was led by Khalilah Holloway with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Courtney Larson and Taylor Laabs both scored nine points.
Riley Galvin led the Lady Trojans with five assists.
NIACC (11-10 overall, 3-3 in the ICCAC) returns to action Saturday at Southwestern.
