NIACC ranks highly in several offensive categories

MASON CITY - The No. 18 (NJCAA Division II) NIACC softball team completed the non-conference portion of its schedule with a record of 16-6 ranking highly in several NJCAA Division II offensive categories.

NIACC ranks sixth in the nation with 242 runs scored. The Trojans average 11 runs per game, which ranks first in the nation for teams that have played over 20 games.

NIACC has accumulated 242 hits, which ranks 13th in the nation. The 11 hits per game ranks second in NJCAA Division II.

The Trojans lead all of NJCAA Division II with 87 doubles. Brynnlin Kroymann leads the team with 12 doubles, which is tied for sixth in NJCAA Division II.

Also for the Trojans, Emily Jones, Laken Lienhard and Shaye Theobald all have 11 doubles. Sydney Toman is next in line with 10 doubles.

NIACC ranks fifth in NJCAA Division II in RBIs with 221 and fourth in walks with 112.

The Trojans also rank ninth in team batting average (.390), third in on-base percentage (.499), fourth in slugging percentage (.766) and 19th in stolen bases (55).

NIACC's Ravyn Krachey is hitting .542, which ranks 23rd in NJCAA Division II.
