NIACC splits with Iowa Central

MASON CITY - The No. 20 NIACC softball team split an ICCAC doubleheader with Iowa Central on Sunday on the NIACC campus.

NIACC won the first game 15-1 in five innings and Iowa Central won the second game 4-2.

NIACC (16-8 overall, 8-2 in the ICCAC) won the 4-game season series against Iowa Central 3-1. The Lady Trojans swept Iowa Central (11-4 and 12-0) on April 1 in Fort Dodge.

NIACC returns to action Thursday at home against Marshalltown CC in a nonconference doubleheader.
