NIACC men place 15th at Augustana Twilight
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The NIACC men's cross country team placed 15th at the Augustana University Twilight meet on Friday night.
NIACC was 15th with 423 points. Nebraska won the meet with 69 points and host Augustana was second with 104 points.
NIACC was led by sophomore Evan Wilson, who was 84th in a time of 20 minutes, 40 seconds in the four-mile race. Freshman Janvier Irakoze was 87th in 20:44.
Other counting scores for the Trojans were Dawson Schmidt, who was 110th in 21:02; Jorge Ruiz, who was 117th in 21:06; and Aidan Bauermeister, who was 133rd in 21:19.
Also for the Trojans Friday, Jalen Petersen was 143rd (21:31), Ellis Regan was 171st (21:55), Sam Pedelty was 184th (22:03), Matthew Dibbern was 196th (22:18), Stephen Ringo was 197th (22:20), Ben Ellis was 205th (22:23) and Alexander Levad was 292nd (25:32).
