Clear Lake's Pedelty signs with NIACC
CLEAR LAKE - Clear Lake senior Sam Pedelty signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to run cross country at NIACC next fall.
Pedelty placed 40th in the Class 3A state cross country meet in a time of 17:00 in the 5-kilometer race.
"I came to the cross country camp at NIACC last summer and coach (Curtis Vais) taught me a lot of things," Pedelty said. "My brother also went to NIACC and he said it was a good school."
Pedelty will join a NIACC men's cross country team that includes one of his former high school teammates (Grant Dieken) and former competitior (GHV's Logan Dalbeck).
"Team chemistry will be great," Pedelty said.
