NIACC men place 12th at Augustana Twilight
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The NIACC men's cross country team placed 12th out of 26 teams at the Augustana College Twilight meet Friday night with 341 points.
The University of Sioux Falls was the men's team champion with 55 points. South Dakota was second with 55 points and Iowa Western was 17th with 463 points.
Freshman Brian Jacques led the NIACC men with a 35th place finish in 20 minutes, 25 seconds on the four-mile course. Sioux Falls' Mason Philips was the individual champion in 19:15.
Other counting scores for the Trojans were Blake Keller (57th in 20:45), Jacob Hansen (99th in 21:20), John Kraft (102nd in 21:21) and Samuel Dean (126th in 21:37).
Also for the Trojans Saturday, David Carter was 142nd (21:54), Logan Dalbeck was 150th (22:00), Canyon Kuhlmann was 158th (22:04), Daniel Hennigar was 181st (22:34), Grant Dieken was 193rd (22:50), Tyler Crawford was 198th (22:54), Tyson Stromer was 212th (23:22), Hunter Filloon was 227th (23:47) and Akahnni Delgado was 250th (24:40).
The NIACC men return to action Sept. 9 at Grinnell's Les Duke Invitational.
