NIACC's Duran, Dalzini earn all-region honors

MASON CITY - For the second straight season, NIACC's Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran earned all-NJCAA Region 11 Division II honors.

Duran, a forward from Barcelona, Spain, was a second-team all-region pick in the 2023 season. Duran was a first-team selection in 2022.

Duran led the Trojans with 12 goals and four assists in the 2023 season. The 12 goals ranks ninth on NIACC's all-time single-season scoring list.

Duran finished his NIACC career with 22 goals and seven assists. The 22 goals ranks fifth on NIACC's career scoring list.

Also for the Trojans, freshman defender Giorgio Dalzini, who is from Cenate Sopra, Italy, was an honorable mention all-region selection. Dalzini scored one goal with two assists during his freshman season.
