NORFOLK, Neb. - The NIACC men's soccer team bowed out of the NJCAA Region 11 Division II tournament with a 6-0 loss to No. 1 Northeast CC on Sunday.
Northeast CC (18-1 overall) led 4-0 at the half and added two insurance goals in the second half to advance to Wednesday's regional semifinals.
NIACC finished the 2023 season with a record of 2-9-3.
Northeast CC hosts Marshalltown CC at 3 p.m. in the regional semifinals. Marshalltown CC nipped Hawkeye CC 1-0 in its tournament opener on Sunday.
Southeastern CC and Iowa Lakes meet in the other regional semifinals on Wednesday in Spencer.
