NIACC's Anderson signs to play at Lander University
MASON CITY - NIACC sophomore keeper Colin Anderson signed a national letter of intent Thursday to play soccer next season at Lander University, a NCAA Division II school in Greenwood, S.C.
Lander University, a member of the Peach Belt Conference, was 14-4-1 in the 2016 season and qualified for the NCAA Division II national tournament for the 11th time in school history.
Anderson, who is from Boise, Idaho, was 5-7 as the Trojans' keeper in 2016. He collected 71 saves and allowed 30 goals for a .703 save percentage.
