NIACC soccer team tops Northeast, 4-3

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team topped Northeast CC 4-3 in ICCAC action Saturday at the NIACC pitch.

NIACC jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the half and held on for the 1-goal victory.

Sophomore Khaliyl Hanson scored two goals for NIACC. The Trojans also received a goal from Sachin Kumar Bargota and an own goal.

Northeast recevied its second-half goals from Sebastian Delfin Besores, Brady Fister and Roberlando Morfi.

NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Hawkeye Community College. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
