NIACC men place 5th at Waldorf Invitational
FOREST CITY - The NIACC men's golf team placed fifth with a 330 Sunday at the Waldorf University Invitational at Bear Creek Golf Course.
Iowa Lakes was the team champion with a 305 and host Waldorf was second with a 311. The Lakers' Carlton Rahm was the individual medalist with a 72.
NIACC was led by Anthony Emanuel with a 78. Devin Koob was next in line for the Trojans with a 79. Also counting for the Trojans was Josh Schaeffer with an 83 and Ben Boerjan with a 90.
NIACC's Jake Buntjer shot a 99.
Playing as individual for the Trojans were Mitchell Scholl (91) and Jordan Voves (88).
The NIACC men return to action Sunday and Monday at the NJCAA Region XI preview in Panora.
