NIACC men stop Southeast CC, 90-81
- Trojans put 5 players in double figures

LINCOLN, Neb. - The NIACC men's basketball team moved its winning streak to three games with a 90-81 victory over Southeast CC at the Southeast CC Thanksgiving Classic.
NIACC (6-3 overall) trailed 46-41 at the half but outscored host Southeast CC 49-35 in the second 20 minutes.
Freshman guard Omarion Roberts led five Trojans in double figures with a career-high 19 points. Roberts' previous career-high was 17 points against Bryant & Stratton on Nov. 4 at the Konigsmark Klassic.
Also in double figures for the Trojans were Wyatt Helming and Brayden Drea with 15 points apiece, Marquel Newsome with 14 points and James Jennings with 12 points.
Drea's 15 points was a career-high. Drea's previous high point total was 14 points against Minnesota North-Itasca.
It is the first time all season that the Trojans had five players score in double figures.
Helming also contributed eight rebounds and three blocked shots. The Trojans' Keon Alexander came off the bench to score eight points and grab five rebounds.
Drea also dished out a team-high five assists and collected four rebounds.
NIACC opens ICCAC play at home Saturday against DMACC. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 3 p.m.
