WAVERLY - The NIACC men's basketball team cruised to an 89-48 victory over the Wartburg College Junior Varsity on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore Noah Rigatuso led the Trojans with 17 points. Myles Tucker was next in line for the Trojans with 13 points.
NIACC's Tysen Brennan scored 12 points and Jacques Kelly scored 11 points. Jeffrey Skogen scored nine points and Trey Woolsey scored eight points.
NIACC (16-6 overall 5-4 in the ICCAC) returns to action Wednesday at home against Iowa Western. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 7:30 p.m.
Iowa Western stopped NIACC 95-81 on Dec. 8 in Council Bluffs.
