NIACC men remain No. 14 in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team remained No. 14 in the NJCAA Division II poll released Tuesday.
NIACC (10-2 overall, 1-0 ICCAC) was No. 14 in the Dec. 18 poll and was No. 19 in the Dec. 11 poll.
South Suburban (Ill.) is ranked No. 1 and Highland (Kan.) is ranked No. 2. Kirkwood is ranked No. 5, DMACC is No. 17 and Iowa Lakes is No. 20.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Iowa Central. The men's game is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym. The Trojans have won nine straight games and have scored at least 100 points in six straight games, which is a school record.
