NIACC men roll past No. 16 DCTC, 101-65
ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - Quentin Hardrict scored 22 points with six assists and five rebounds to lead the NIACC men's basketball team to a 101-65 victory over No. 16 DCTC Wednesday night.
NIACC, which dropped a 91-80 decision to DCTC at the Konigsmark Klassic, led 46-33 at the half and outscored the Blue Knights 55-32 in the second 20 minutes to claim its fifth straight win.
NIACC (6-2 overall) also received 19 points and 13 rebounds from Wendell Matthews. It was Matthew's fourth double/double of the season.
Deundra Roberson scored 15 points with five steals, Naeem Freeman scored nine points with seven rebounds, James Harris scored nine points with seven rebounds and five assists, Kyle Lang scored seven points with six rebounds and two steals and Chandler Dean collected eight rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Great Western Shootout in Fort Dodge. The Trojans face Northeast CC on Friday and play NDSCS on Saturday.
