NIACC men return to action at Kirkwood
CEDAR RAPIDS - The NIACC men's basketball team opens ICCAC play tonight at Kirkwood.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
NIACC (11-4 overall) last played on Jan. 10 when the Trojans dropped a 85-65 decision at Dakota County Technical College. Freshman Orrington Hamilton led NIACC with 15 points. Jaycob Payne was next in line for the Trojans with 10 points.
Kirkwood (11-4, 1-0) topped Iowa Central 84-62 on Jan. 13 in its league opener. Bailey Kale led the Eagles with 19 points and Chris King scored 13 points.
King averages 16.6 points per game to lead the Eagles. Doug Wilson averages 12.1 points per game.
Kirkwood leads the all-time series against NIACC, 59-38.
