NIACC men return to action tonight at DCTC

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - After a 25-day layoff, the NIACC men's basketball team returns to action Wednesday in a nonconference contest at Dakota County Technical College.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.

NIACC (11-3) last played on Dec. 16 when it topped the Associated Free Lutheran Bible School 74-39. Cam McPherson grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds against AFLBS.

The NIACC men are 3-4 all-time against DCTC with the first meeting coming in the 2011-12 season. NIACC topped DCTC last season 64-63.

DCTC (9-7) has won four straight games. In the 2018 calendar year, the Blue Knights have topped RCTC (74-67) and Anoka-Ramsey (74-72).

DCTC is led by Harlyn Owens, who averages 21.6 points per game. Demario Armstrong is next in line for the Blue Knights at 15.6 points per game.
