NIACC men top Northeast CC, 82-60

FORT DODGE - After a tough loss on Wednesday, the NIACC men's basketball team responded behind sophomore guard Nick Wurm and rolled to an 82-60 victory over Northeast CC at the Great Western Shootout on the Iowa Central campus.
Wurm paced the Trojans with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
"We shared the ball well," Trojans coach Mark Mohl said. "The kids continue to work hard."
Orrington Hamilton added 19 points and four assists for the Trojans while former West Fork prep Gunnar Meyers had 12 points.
NIACC (8-2) returns to action Saturday when it will face Central CC-Columbus on day two of the Great Western Shootout.
