NIACC's Moss earns ICCAC player of week honor

MASON CITY - NIACC freshman guard Ben Moss was selected as the co-ICCAC Division II men's basketball player of the week for the week of Nov. 7-13 for his performance at Ellsworth's Dale Howard Classic.

Moss scored a career-high 35 points in NIACC's 98-87 victory over Little Priest Tribal College last Friday. Moss had a career-best nine assists in a 98-80 victory over Lake Land College on Saturday.

Moss shared the weekly honor with DMACC freshman Wali Parks.

Moss averages 21.0 points with 21 assists and 11 steals through NIACC's first four games.

NIACC (4-0) returns to action Sunday at the Wartburg Coillege Junior Varsity.
