NIACC Esports team seeks bids in national finals

MASON CITY - The NIACC Esports team will compete in the NJCAA national semifinals on Wednesday in Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends.

NIACC faces Montgomery County CC in the NJCAA Tier 2 Overwatch 2 semifinals at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Trojans topped Hocking College 3-0 last week to advance to the national final four.

NIACC's Overwatch 2 team consists of Ezra Eggums, Jaimes Zaragoza, Gavin Blackman, Kadin Collins, Ibrahim Cara and Aaron Tejirina

Terijina will represent the Trojans in the NJCAA Tier 3 Apex Legends national semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
