NIACC Esports team set to begin post-season

MASON CITY - The NIACC Esports team will begin post-season play this week.

The Trojans have qualified for the NJCAA post-season in three events - Overwatch 2, League of Legends and Apex Legends.

The Trojans' Overwatch 2 team faces Florida Gateway at 5 p.m. Wednesday in its NJCAA Tier 2 opening-round match.

NIACC's League of Legends team takes on Heartland CC at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday in a NJCAA Tier 3 first-round match.

The Trojans' Apex Legends squad received a first-round bye and will have a NJCAA Tier 3 second-round match at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
