NIACC Dance Team earns 3 top 3 finishes at state

DES MOINES – The NIACC Dance Team earned three top 3 finishes in the community college division at the 2023 ISDTA State Dance Championships on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena.

NIACC placed second with its Jazz and Pom performances and played third with its Hip Hop routine under the guidance of seventh-year head coach Tina Wihlm.

It was just the fourth and fifth time that the NIACC Dance Team has earned second-place finishes.

The Trojans also playced second with their Hip Hop routine in 2018, second with Pom routine in 2019 and second with Pom routine in 2021.
