NIACC Dance Team to compete in state championships on Friday

DES MOINES - The NIACC Dance Team will compete in the community college division at the 2018 ISDTA State Dance Team Championships on Friday.

NIACC will perform its Hip Hop routine at 11:25 a.m. in Hy-Vee Hall.

NIACC's Pom routine is set for 2:14 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena and Jazz routine is at 5:06 p.m. also in Wells Fargo Arena.

This will be the 12th year for college teams at the Iowa state championships.

In its first-ever competition last season, NIACC received three Division I ratings in its three routines/

NIACC tied for third in the community college division in its Pom routine and placed fourth in both the Hip Hop competition and Jazz competition.
